Sacred Heart is proud to announce that our nominee has been chosen as a 2025 Carson Scholar. Congratulations to 8th grader, Colby Flynn!

With this honor, Colby will receive a $1,000 scholarship award that will be invested for her college education, along with a medal and certificate. She will also have her name added to our Sacred Heart Carson Scholars Fund trophy.

Colby was chosen because she "demonstrates the highest standards of academic achievement, integrity, and civic and social responsibility."

Way to go Colby!

Read-A-Thon- SUCCESS!

We just started our second week of the Read-a-Thon. There’s still time to participate. Click the button below to register your child or check their progress.

We've raised over $17,000 so far!

Mrs. Redd's class is still in the lead with pledges, but so many classes are not far behind, such as Mrs. Cashdollar, Mrs. Adams and Ms. Narduzzi. We've blasted our goal this year! Thank you so much to everyone that's contributed.

What are some fun things we've done so far this Read-A-Thon?

  • Mrs. Garfinkel's Pre-K students will be reading with their 8th grade friends this week
  • Mrs. C's Kindergarten class read "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" and made suitcases of all the places they wanted to go and wrote about what they'd do there.
  • Mrs. Adams 2nd grade takes every chance they get to read their books. One student even brought a timer to class to track his reading minutes!
  • Ms. Narduzzi's 4th grade class already has 2 students that have already completely filled up their bingo cards!
  • Mrs. Nichols' 5th graders had their popcorn popping everywhere! They made really nice popcorn art with the characters from their stories.

If we do not have enough parents signed up, we cannot send students outside for recess. We want them to get outside as often as possible and so your help is needed.
