There are many diets out there that have shown cognition improvements and so picking just one to follow can be challenging. A well-balanced, whole food diet is always a safe route and as the saying goes....."moderation, moderation, moderation."
Many studies out there have shown that a mostly plant-based diet has been shown to delay cognitive decline and the worsening of dementia symptoms.
Hearty Vegan Slow-Cooker Chili
Don't be mistaken......chili can be enjoyed all year long! Although we are heading into Spring, a time when chilis and soups take the back burner, you can still pull out your slow cooker and give those fresh veggies a new life in a delicious veggie chili. This freezes well also if you are only cooking for a few people. As with any recipe, feel free to make this your own, adding in your favorite veggies or just cleaning out the refrigerator!
