Chamber and Member Updates!
Yes, we know! You're thinking "Whaaat!! We still have Labor Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving before it's Christmastime!

BUT, Santa's elves need time to custom-make your Gingerbread Cottage for the S-RCC's Gingerbread Trail. Your Cottage will become part of the Gingerbread Trail and will be included on the Trail map. It's a great opportunity to help draw visitors and customers to your site for Christmas photos, family photos, engagement photos, or perhaps a "gender reveal" - the possibilities are endless! But first, the elves at the Chamber need to hear from you so that they can get your Cottage on the construction schedule. Give us a call at (540) 387-0267 or send an email to [email protected] to find out more about the Gingerbread Cottages and Trail.

It will be here before you can say...
"I want my own Gingerbread Cottage!"
The Gingerbread Festival Committee has met and is excited about this year's Festival and Gingerbread House Competition! We'll be at the Salem Museum and Longwood Park again this year and the date is Saturday, December 3rd. And don't forget the Salem Christmas Parade on the 2nd. If you are interested in volunteering at the Festival or serving on the Committee, drop us a note and we'll be in touch!
Young Professionals -

We haven't forgotten about you! Plans are to start up the get-togethers again in September. We have some great speakers lined up so watch for more details soon!

If you're interested in joining in on the fun, please send an email to [email protected] and you'll be added to our email list.
Ambassadors -

The "facelift" of the Ambassador Program is well underway and we will be updating all of you soon. Ambassadors are a valued and integral part of any Chamber and the S-RC Chamber wants to make sure you're equipped with everything you need to represent S-RCC.

If you're not an Ambassador but would like to join this great group, please send an email to [email protected].

Our 31st Annual Golf Tournament was a HUGE success! We had a great bunch of golfers, very tasty food, special cookies - see below - and plenty to drink. It was hot but a great day for golf and a fun time for all. The Roanoke Country Club was fantastic! We'll be back next year - but per the many requests - it will be in the fall, hoping for a little bit cooler weather.
