2020 Stewardship Emphasis
The stewardship question that Atonement invites you to meditate on this year is: What does stewardship at Atonement allow us to provide for the congregation and the community? Last weekend we heard from Eric Vollen who talked about Atonement being a place where he felt welcomed, affirmed, and found grace. This week we'll hear from a long serving member. Your time, treasure, and talent contribute to make this congregation the welcoming and faith nurturing place that it has become. How are you willing to continue sharing your time, treasure and talent?
Lent 2020 - God Is Near You Now - Listen!
This Lenten season join your friends at church for a noon service (followed by lunch) or a 6:30 p.m. service (preceded by dinner).  We will listen together during Lent by dwelling in the Word ( Hebrews 12:1-2) and in the world through the sharing of our own stories. We will name what God is up to in our midst.

Listening to stories about what we long for and what we’ve lost (or are afraid to lose) helps our hearts align with what God cares about most. We're going to find the way forward by reconnecting with God’s faithfulness, God’s story, and God’s promises to us as God’s people who face times in our lives when we are shaped by God’s presence.
Spirit Trek Mentoring
During Lent, our confirmation program, called Spirit Trek, takes a break from meeting in a group and all the students (6th -9th grade) are invited to seek a mentor and meet with their mentor on Wednesdays at Atonement before or after worship. Is this a ministry to which you might be called? It's easy and only requires a background check which is done free of charge through the church office.
Making Sense of the Cross Study Sundays 9:30 a.m.
Making Sense of the Cross is a group study that gives participants the opportunity to listen in on a conversation between two people having an open and candid discussion about the cross. One assumes the role of a coach, who has had the time to study the faith in some depth. The other is curious, knows a little bit about the faith, and brings a lot of questions: So what’s with the cross? What does the cross say about God? What’s the big deal? Did Jesus have to die? Join your friends for this interesting Lenten Study led by the pastors!
Minnesota Food Share
The Ministry of the Month for March is Minnesota FoodShare . This is unique among Atonement Ministries of the Month, in that financial contributions collected during the month of March are DOUBLED . 100% of donations received by Minnesota Foodshare during the March Campaign go into the FoodFund and are distributed to March Campaign participating food shelves. It is important that all financial contributions to March MoM be received by March 31. Thank you for financial contributions that buy food for the many hungry people in this area.
