Exciting Facility Improvements Underway: Construction Updates & Summer Plans |
Greetings,
As we turn the corner on the 2024-25 school year, progress continues on the construction projects at RFHS and the transportation center. Starting in June, projects will also begin at Rocky Branch, Westside, Greenwood, and Meyer Middle Schools. These initiatives are made possible through the passage of the February 2024 referendum.
Over the next eight months we will strive to limit interruptions to the learning environment due to these projects. School leaders are actively planning to ensure that Summer School, Summer Kids Club, Speed and Strength, and co-curricular activities continue smoothly without negative impact. Stay tuned for ongoing updates regarding these programs.
If you are interested in following construction projects progress, there are monthly updates on our website's Facilities Projects page.
Although there may be some temporary inconveniences, we are excited about the long-term benefits these projects will bring in improving the infrastructure of our schools.
Sincerely,
David Bell, Superintendent
