Adult Pumpkin Carving
Don't forget to bring your pumpkins tomorrow, Thursday October 21st at 6pm, to the Omega Room for some holiday fun! The Young Adult group is inviting all young adults and children to participate in making your own Jack-O-Lantern.
UMW SUNDAY
This Sunday, October 24th, Christ Church will be celebrating our United Methodist Women. On this day, we will open the doors at 9am in preparation for our Connections Hour, which will be followed by ONE SERVICE ONLY at 11am.

Reverend Jenna Moon will be preaching, "Two Midwives and a Nun." Anne Silbernagel is the liturgist. There is also a message from the UMW President Barbara Carpenter, and time with children by Kathy Chaney. Come show your support for the women of Christ Church this Sunday.

Following the service, UMW is selling Chicken Dinners to raise money for their community outreach programs. Some of the programs they help with are Manna Meal and Sojourners. They also use the money to make flood buckets for natural disasters and support the youth and adults who go on mission trips.

Buy a dinner today, and help someone tomorrow.
Children's Sabbath &
Undie Sunday
Sunday, October 31st, will be our Children’s Sabbath led by Rev. Jonathan Moon, the annual “Dropping of Your Drawers” hosted by Captain Undie, and a special after-service Trunk or Treat event.

During the worship services, everyone is welcome to come in kid-friendly costumes. The worship leaders will be dressed up as figures from the Bible or Christian history, and everyone is encouraged to guess who they might be. Also, there will be a moment of prayer over the underwear that will be donated to help local children in need.

Following the service, at 12:30pm there will be Trunk or Treat on the Virginia Street parking lot. There will be games, handing out of non-food/candy “treats”, and decorating of vehicles in fun ways. Also, there will be a table of fruits and veggies for healthy friendly snacks.
