A letter from the Director
2018 comes in with a bang
Greetings once again from the campus of Safe Harbor of Little Rock. 2018 has came in with a bang! First let me say "hats off to the Little Rock Team!". These guys have been working together like one solid unit, the energy between them has been nothing short of excellent.
Even when the load gets hard to bare, these men pull together and assist each other. I am very proud and grateful to work with such awesome men.

The Spring Revival was a total blast! So many souls were saved, 35 gave their hearts, and we truly enjoyed the messages from Pastor Kyle Bennett and Bro Kenny Lane. They both delivered a powerfully, inspiring message. We also baptized 13 on the last night of the revival and a young lady asked to have her "feet washed". We are expecting an even greater time in the fall.

Our Reliable Department started slow this year, but has picked up great momentum. We have acquired a few new partners since the beginning of the year. SFI, Tokusen, ICS, Ring Container, Davis Trailers, AmeriPride and as of this week Scott Manufacturing, with two of these new contracts being in the city of Stuttgart. Our excitement to be able to serve men through employment opportunities goes beyond measures.

We were able to purchase a 15 passenger van, to help to transport our participants to work, and that brings our fleet size to 6 vehicles. We have enjoyed a few upgrades to our facility that include a 16 camera surveillance system, as well as our main building lobby, dining room and chapel floors being upgraded with new ceramic tile.

Our guys have received 35 tickets with hot dog vouchers to the baseball game for Friends & Family Night at Dickey Stephens Park. They are excited and we know they will have a wonderful time. We are thankful to God for all He has done in the life of the men we serve.

Recognizing our Participants
Congratulations to Reliable Student of the Month Michael Battern!
Congratulations to the Student of the Month of March Mr. Travis Miller!
Partner of the Quarter - Baptist Little Rock Nutrition
We are blessed to call Baptist Little Rock Nutrition a partner of Safe Harbor. Director Becky Blackard transferred from North Little Rock Nutrition and decided to bring Safe Harbor along with her to Baptist.

We currently have 10 participants employed there. The men in our program have the chance to get real time on the job training and culinary experience.

We are grateful for the opportunities that have been given to us!
Student Testimony - Bradley Sanford
"First and foremost, I'd like to give God all the praise & honor for this great achievement that He has blessed me with.

While being here at Safe Harbor this place has shown me how to be patient and willing to go any length to stay clean and do God's will. It has given me a job I enjoy going to and to be a successful and obedient person.

I thank Safe Harbor and the staff for the opportunity to come here and for helping me get myself back on track, so I can be a leader and show the newcomers how to be successful as well.

Again, I thank you & God Bless!" - Bradley Sanford
