Religious Freedom Then and Now
Strong Tower Radio is airing a series commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We will review the Declaration and the subsequent growth in understanding of religious expression.
The series is entitled Declaration at 250 - Religious Liberty Then & Now. This weekly five-part series airs Sundays at 11:00 am, Mondays at 8:30 pm, and Tuesdays at 2:30 am. Scott Ritsema from Belt of Truth Ministries, will be our guest the next four weeks giving a comprehensive view of the Declaration's clarity. Just this week, we are working on an additional segment that promises to be equally exciting. Stay tuned!

He left the formal teaching profession to pursue full-time ministry, focusing heavily on Biblical responses to modern culture, entertainment media, and family life. He operates his ministries and daily broadcasts from rural mid-Michigan, where he resides with his wife, Cami, and their two sons.

A man changing oil

The Voice Behind You
When God speaks, do we believe Him?
God speaks to us daily through His Word, the Bible. There is another form of communication that develops as we spend time in God’s Word. In Isaiah 30:21 it says, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left” [to leave the narrow way that leads to eternal life].
God wants to work in our lives, even in the simplest matters. I was changing the oil in my car, and for the first time, I could not loosen the drain plug. I then remembered that I had had some work done on the car and had the oil changed. Someone else had overtightened the bolt. Irritation welled up in me as I thought of the delay this was creating.
I broke my breaker bar last year while removing a tire; now I had to buy another one for a simple task!
A thought interrupted my irritation: “Will you give this to Me?” The Holy Spirit was calling to my heart and mind. I told Him I did not like this problem, and then stated that I trusted Him to resolve it. Using the new breaker bar and a different angle the next day, I loosened the bolt without stripping the head. Thank you, Jesus!
We make decisions like this daily, more and more, as we recognize the Holy Spirit’s voice in our conscience, working to transform our thinking, feelings, and patterns of expression.
Many of you keep making the decision to support STR with prayers and finances that sustain this ministry. We praise God that you are listening to the voice behind you, which is urging you to give. Lives are being changed!
Kam Ferguson
Development Director

Raise Right
Fundraiser
Here is a new & easy way that you can help us with our fundraising. I like to think of it as free money!! Do you use or buy gift cards? Especially this time of year? We are inviting you to join our gift card fundraising program.
The RaiseRight organization partners with hundreds of brands. You can choose from eGift cards, physical gift cards, or reloadable gift cards—all with no activation fees or expiration dates. Shop online with 550+ brands, dine at participating restaurants, and even buy gas cards or book hotels and car rentals for massive earning potential. Over 50,000 organizations trust RaiseRight as their #1 fundraising platform.
You can also earn from all your online shopping. Log in at RaiseRight.com or the mobile app, then select the Shop Online tab to browse brands, shop directly on their websites, and earn on your purchases.
How it works: Let’s say you purchase a $100 gift card from a participating brand. In turn, they donate a percentage of the gift card's value to Strong Tower Radio, ranging from 1-14%, sometimes more. But your gift card is still worth the price you paid. The brand is paying the percentage, similar to what Amazon Smile used to do. That’s why I call it free money!
Use our unique enrollment code Y2V9HHQ9DXPN to help us fundraise! Please go to RaiseRight.com & join. Use gift cards that give back; earn anywhere, anytime with everyday purchases. Shop Now!
