Virtual Town Council Meeting on Tuesday
Town Council will hold their regular monthly meeting virtually on Tuesday, April 7, at 2 p.m. It will be live-streamed on the Town's YouTube channel available here . The agenda is available here . 
Parkway Improvement Project Traffic Notice
Next week, road construction on the Kiawah Island Parkway will continue. Beginning at 6 p.m. every night, traffic patterns will be altered, but lanes will remain open. Expect intermittent traffic delays and plan extra time for travel. Traffic control will be present so please use caution as there could be abrupt stops in traffic.

This is part of the Kiawah Island Parkway Improvement Project (phase 1), which you can read more about  here .

Solid Waste Service Notice
  • Garbage and recycling must be placed inside the cans to ensure collection. 
  • Cardboard/cardboard boxes must be broken down and placed inside either the recycling or garbage cans (recycling encouraged). 
  • Any items left outside of the can will not be collected. 

Kestrel Court Recycling Center
Overflow garbage, recycling, and cardboard can be taken to the large capacity compactors at the Kestrel Court Recycling Center. Containers are material-specific and signage is posted to help residents identify what containers to use. Individuals found leaving items outside of the containers will be subject to a $500 fine plus assessments.
