September 11 Tribute
On Wednesday, September 11, six American flags will fly from City Hall as homage to the residents of White Plains who gave their lives. A Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 8 am at Liberty Park on Lake Street. The ceremony will include a flag rising, wreath laying, prayer, reflections and reminiscences of this historic day in history.

On Thursday, September 12, the City of White Plains Personnel Department and the American Red Cross will provide residents an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and give blood. The Blood Drive will be held at City Hall, 255 Main Street in White Plains, from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Donating just one pint of blood can save up to three lives and is a wonderful way to give back. Pre-registration is available at www.redcrossblood.org, Sponsor code WPCITYHALL.

Visions 2019: “Art Defined?” an Exhibition
ArtsWestchester in partnership with Westchester County Government and the NYS Office of Mental Health present, Visions 2019: Art Defined?, featuring artwork by more than 60 artists who are recipients of mental health services in Westchester County.
