Helping BOMA Members Bounce Back
Earlier this week, a panelist at the 2020 Urban Land Institute (ULI) Virtual Fall Meeting I attended made the refreshing point that the COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced the resilience of the U.S. workforce and economy. From the office workers who transitioned to remote work over the course of one weekend to the property professionals who took immediate action to implement new best practices in their buildings, displays of adaptability and resilience over these past seven months offer a hopeful glimpse of what’s to come. BOMA International also has been looking ahead to the future, releasing new resources on topics such as operating expense pass-throughs to help property professionals navigate new uncertainties. In today’s vlog, I’ll share more on BOMA’s recent efforts to support members throughout the pandemic, and I’ll highlight additional takeaways from ULI’s late-breaking Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2021 report.

As I mentioned during the vlog, the September/October issue of BOMA Magazine is hot off the (digital) press, and it's packed with timely insights on the trends and challenges impacting commercial real estate. We’ll also be exploring healthcare trends accelerated by the pandemic at the upcoming 2020 Medical Office Buildings + Healthcare Real Estate Conference, which will be held virtually from November 4-5. And if you’re interested in becoming a candidate for a leadership role within BOMA International, check out the BOMA Leadership webpage and online application.

Be well,
