It is our intent to keep you abreast of information and webinars; not just to forward all the news that fits…but it seems like the information below may be helpful to you, your team and clients.
Dear BOMA members,

Facility managers across New York are looking for new ways to reduce energy costs and increase operational efficiencies. To help accomplish these goals, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) offers programs that provide funding for energy efficiency and clean energy projects. In case you missed our previous notification, NYSERDA announced the launch of an online Program Search tool that can recommend a technical assistance program that will support your energy needs.

The tool makes it easier for building owners to:

Ø   Connect to the NYSERDA program that matches their needs
Ø   Quickly access information on available project funding
Ø   Request help in getting started

We encourage you to share the tool with your contacts and to try it yourself via the link below. Provide any feedback to improve the content by emailing us at .

Not sure where to start? NYSERDA can help!
Email or call 315.434.7239 to learn more about NYSERDA’s enhanced customer support that can help your facility identify and complete energy-saving projects.

Thank you,

Inspire Confidence in an Uncertain World

Whether you want to inspire your team or adapt to today’s CRE market, resilience is a trait you can never have too much of. It’s what enabled us to transition to a virtual BOMA 2.0 (hello sweatpants!), and it’s the central element in all our keynote events and presentations.

On Tuesday, July 7, BOMA International President and COO Henry Chamberlain will present the 2020 State of the Industry Address . He’ll examine how commercial real estate has been affected by the pandemic, highlight solutions and talk about the future.

Then, on Wednesday, July 8, tune into a panel discussion addressing the Post-Pandemic Outlook for Commercial Real Estate, moderated by BOMA International Chair Shelby Christensen and featuring Marla Maloney, President, Asset Services at Cushman & Wakefield; Sheryl Schulze, Principal, Global Repositioning + Landlord Services Leader at Gensler; and Brian Sutherland, Industry Principal, Commercial at Yardi. You’ll hear about the lessons learned and major shifts taking place in asset and property management, investment and development, technology and workplace design.

On Thursday, July 9, don’t miss the much-anticipated presentation of The Outstanding Building of the Year® (TOBY®) Awards. This prestigious awards program begins at the local level, moves to a regional competition and culminates in the international awards.
