Heather Sidorowicz, President, and Owner of Southtown Audio Video
Heather L. Sidorowicz is President and owner of Southtown Audio Video, a custom installation and integration firm based in Hamburg, NY. As a female in a predominately male industry, Heather has a unique perspective, believing that technology should balance the home/workplace rather than overtake it, and it's her mission to find technology and products that enhance one's quality of life.
Southtown Audio Video has been Commercial Integrators Top Higher Ed Integration Firms, and in 2015 Heather was selected to be one of their 40 Influencers Under 40. Locally, she has mentored for the University at Buffalo’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership program and Allstate's Minority and Women’s Emerging Entrepreneurs Program.
Currently Heather is President of the Hamburg Development Committee’s board, an active member with Economic Development in the Village of Hamburg and she also sits on the CEDIA board – a global residential technology association that has brought her to such places as Denver, San Diego and London, England. Heather is a contributor to both Residential Systems' and other online sites where she muses about the custom installation industry with a passionate and singular style. She has also written for CEDIA EMEA’s prestigious magazine.
In her spare time, she can be found skiing with her husband and two girls, on her yoga mat, cooking fresh meals, and writing in the third person.

BOMA Members Take on the Next Season of Change

It’s hard to believe we are already halfway through 2020. While this year has challenged our industry and members in more ways than one, the power of the BOMA network has never been stronger. With reopening efforts now underway, our discussions on building reentry are actively evolving and expanding to reflect the ever-changing world around us. In today’s vlog , I’ll share BOMA International’s most recent reentry guidance and touch on some of the other issues our members are tackling, like navigating economic uncertainty, recommitting to diversity and inclusion efforts and honoring those fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Just as our industry and our world continue to change, the 2020 BOMA International Conference & Expo is changing, too. From July 7-9, we’ll come together (now virtually) to address the complex issues facing commercial real estate and to develop a roadmap for moving forward. Featuring 20 sessions led by industry experts, an Expo showcasing top solution providers and the much-anticipated BOMA International TOBY ® Awards celebration, you won’t want to miss out on BOMA 2020’s premier education and networking opportunities. See you in cyberspace next month!

BOMA 2.0 Goes Virtual
Our industry and our world continue to change—and the 2020 BOMA International Conference & Expo is changing, too. While it’s best that we stay apart right now, it’s also important that we come together to navigate the complex issues facing commercial real estate and begin to move forward (from the safety of our own spaces). That’s why we’re rebooting and releasing BOMA 2.0 as a three-day virtual event experience.

Join us July 7-9 and you’ll access:
Education Designed for Right Now. This is a pivotal moment for CRE. Deepen your understanding of what’s happening and what it means for your property and our industry with new content focused on the pandemic – including a can’t-miss panel discussion on resiliency and recovery in CRE.

The Solutions You Need Now . We’re dealing with challenges that we could have never imagined a few short months ago. Our partners in the online BOMA Expo are here to help – visit them to discover the solutions and products that will keep your property moving forward.
Quality Networking. We may be apart right now, but the BOMA network is stronger than ever. Learn how other CRE pros are adapting and make valuable connections with focused group chats.
Insights and Events. See where CRE is heading during the State of the Industry address and celebrate the year’s best-in-class properties at the TOBY Awards—all from the comfort of your home or office.
