|Creative Alliance Birthday Bash|
Milwaukee Art Museum - 750 Art Museum Drive, Milwaukee, 53202
Come eat, drink, and be merry! Join us for great local music, food, and libations as we celebrate our first birthday! We'll introduce our newly expanded board of directors and update Milwaukee's creative community on our achievements and current projects.
You'll also hear from Christine Harris regarding the recently released Creative Collaborative Spaces report and have an opportunity to meet Lindsey Bovinet, chairman of the board of Interior Systems, Inc. and visionary behind the Eisner Advertising Museum rebirth.
But of course, it wouldn't be a Creative Alliance event without some productive brainstorming. We'll be tapping you for feedback and ideas pertaining to the potential "Creative Hub" at the Eisner Museum. This collaborative, cooperative effort, featuring a multidisciplinary cross-section of Milwaukee's creatives, will give you the opportunity to influence the conception of the future space and offer your unique ideas to Creative Alliance leaders as they move forward with planning.
And what's a birthday without presents?! As our gift to you, we invite you to visit the MAM galleries, including feature exhibit, Posters of Paris: Toulouse-Lautrec and His Contemporaries, following our celebration. Posters of Paris examines the story of the French artistic poster in all its complexity. In addition to the posters themselves, this exhibition features rare preparatory drawings and watercolors, maquettes, and proofs to show how the artist went from idea to final execution.
We hope to see you! Register Now
