Jack Nicklaus played Pequot on July 30, 1966

Alice Cooper is a very dedicated and accomplished golfer. He often plays six mornings a week except for Sundays.This might be due to being the son of a minister. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Cooper grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where he continues to live.


Although seventy two years old, he is far from retiring. His 2022 Tour includes shows throughout the United States and Europe. His heavy metal shows are designed to shock fans include fake blood, snakes, guillotines, electric chairs, and fireworks. After playing outstanding golf at Pequot, he headed to the casino to prepare for his stage show that evening.

This year the Jerry Frechette Golf Academy will be doing golf lessons at Pequot Golf Club.

Jerry has been teaching for the past 25 years.

His focus will be on the Short Game and the Natural Golf Game along with playing lessons.

He teaches many of the Pros inclucing Jack Mickelson.
