Scholarships in Kenya
Would you be interested in providing a partial scholarship for a student in Kenya? We have a couple of students in need of aid:
Daisy Mwendwa
She comes from a family of 5 children. Her parents are farmers, both of whom are HIV positive. Daisy is HIV negative. As a child, she has been a beneficiary of the Center's program. She hopes to obtain a Diploma in Business Management at Mount Kenya University. This is a 2 year program that will provide her the opportunity to be self-sustaining, and she hopes to be able to help her family. The total cost is $2,000.
Lewis Kimoti
Lewis was raised by a single mother. He desires to study Nursing at Kenya School of Nursing, a 2 year program. Lewis stated that he observed a relative with a chronic illness being neglected. His desire is to provide loving medical care for people who are suffering. Lewis is HIV positive. The cost for his program is $2,000. We have a donor who has pledged to pay $500 towards his tuition.
