Foothill High School Choir.

1a.  RECOGNITION - Performance by Foothill High School Choir.
In honor of Music in our Schools Month, the Foothill High School Choir performed a selection and presented the Board of Trustees with invitations to the annual TR Festival of the Arts on March 30, 2017.

1b.  RECOGNITION - Statewide Writing Contest Regional Winner
The Board recognized Cemara Carter, fifth grade Woodlake Elementary student, for her outstanding achievement in writing. Her story, "Scarecrow's Mini Cabbage Garden," earned Regional Winner in the statewide "Imagine This..." writing competition.
2.  PRESENT - Corrective Reading Implementation Update
This presentation provided information about the implementation of Corrective Reading and Big Brainz programs at 10 Expanded Learning (ASES) sites.

3.  PRESENT - Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Pilot Program Update
The PAR Pilot Program was developed with input from Twin Rivers United Educators (TRUE) Members, District Leadership and the PAR Design Team. Its goals are to empower veteran teachers to improve classroom practices, identify and remove barriers that impact instructional effectiveness, and provide ongoing focused coaching, support and mentoring.

4.  PRESENT - California Accountability Model and California School Dashboard
This presentation provided background for the development of the California Accountability Model and showcased the California School Dashboard. The California School Dashboard public launch is tentatively scheduled for the week of March 13, 2017.

5.  ADOPT - Second Reading of Revised Board Policies
The first reading of Board Policies listed below was held February 28, 2017. Revised policies align with current District practices and recommendations from the California School Boards Association (CSBA).

6.  APPROVAL - Personnel Recommendations
