Old business –
President John Baughn submitted our HOA’s Annual Report to the Arizona Corporation Commission, updating the Statutory Agent to John Baughn, and identifying the current Board of Directors and officers.
At no cost to the HOA, the ceiling fan blades in our Ramada have been removed, cleaned, and flipped to remove their sag. This resulted in savings of approximately $300.00 over the cost of replacing the blades with new blades.
New business –
The Board approved $200.00 for three new umbrellas for the pool area. The Board approved $750.00 for extra stucco work on the Ramada wall.
The issue of neighborhood lighting will be addressed in future meetings, considering that functional, ample lamppost lighting enhances street safety.
Research into VM3 governing documents for language relating to ownership, leasing, occupancy, and residency showed that our governing documents expressly prohibit leasing/rental of a Lot and residence, but does not address several non-leasing scenarios of concern.
The discussion that followed revealed a consensus that involvement of the entire community would be necessary for any further exploration of the topic. How to do this was left for future discussion.
