We are very fortunate to have the Southeast Branch Library partnering with our schools. We hope that our families take advantage of the programs that they offer.

Reading Buddies is one-on-one reading practice with library staff at the Southeast Branch. Students from all over come to read with adults.

Reading Buddies times are:
Monday 5-6
Tuesday 5-6
Wednesday 5-6

The Southeast Branch Library is offering a new reading program called the Winter Reading Challenge. Students who sign into the Homework Help Center can also sign up for the Winter Reading Challenge (WRC) that will run from Dec 3-Feb 28. The intent is to keep students reading in the winter and further develop connections to, and attendance in, our Homework Help Centers. Students will receive a mechanical pencil and bookmark at sign up and can win a new book after they read 6 hours. Students will be tracking the time they spend reading in the Homework Help Center. They can also win a pair of earbuds.

Madison Elementary Annual PTO Holiday Shop is coming!

The Holidays are coming and we want to help make the season even more special for your children by giving them the opportunity to shop (in secret!) for the perfect gift for Mom, Dad, grandparents, siblings, and other important people and pets in their lives.

The dates of the Holiday Shop are:
Monday, December 17, 2018 - Friday, December 21, 2018

Hours of Operation:
Mon-Thurs 9am - 11am
Weds & Thurs 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm Friday 9 am - 12:30 pm

The kids love to shop and their excitement will certainly get you into the holiday spirit!

2 Hour Late Start
Wednesday, December 5th is a 2 hour late start for students. All students will be permitted to enter the building at 10:40 am. Please remember, breakfast is NOT served on these days.
