| | To Breathe Again: Women's Retreat | |
From February 20 to the 22nd, women from the Midwest Augustinian community gathered at the Carmelite Spiritual Center in Darien, IL, for an annual retreat. This Lenten retreat invited women on a gentle yet deeply meaningful journey rooted in Scripture and Augustine’s wisdom on interior renewal. Across the weekend, attendees explored what steals their breath, where God desires to restore it, and how grace teaches them to live breathe again. Through prayer, reflection, storytelling, and community, participants encountered a space of peace, truth, and renewal designed for the real lives women lead. Fr. James Keating and three Augustinian Sisters joined the participants for the retreat.
