Good News

Congratulations to Atlanta's Mwalimu Olatunji Lumumba for successfully hosting the PAOCC online Black History class from an international location (Ocho Rios, Jamaica) last Saturday for the first time. In the class were participants from Jamaica and the US.

Detroit's Called to Care Ministry led by Rev. Muthamaki recently received a phase I grant from the Family Care Project sponsored by Ascension Health, Michigan. Upon successful completion of an online training program, the ministry team will become eligible for subsequent grants that may be used to enhance the service of the ministry.

Focus groups are established help to reimagine and facilitate ministry. The groups function in the virtual space. You are encouraged to participate from where you are to lend your talents and gifts to the areas of your interest and what speaks to your spirit. See the List Here

As we initiate a formal process for re-imagining BCN, it must begin with a well-developed succession plan that can effectively support the institutional framework and broad scope of our organization. It must include a method to regularly assess our operations, program, and mission as they intersect with our core values, theology, theory, and practices.
