HELP Needed

From the former chaplain at UNH and current interim of the UCC Church in Wakefield NH:

Help needed for a blind person who needs to foster her animals temporarily

"My precious fur babies are in need of a temporary foster home and I could really use some Community Support helping me find the right place for them. Ideally I would like to find a home for them anywhere I am temporarily moving to in the Lakes Region Belmont Laconia Tilton New Hampshire area but I am open to them being fostered not nearby if need be. My cat is a Bengal that weighs approximately 10 lb and is approximately 4 years old and my dog is a chion or many other names for his breed which is a mix of Chihuahua and Papillon and he is approximately 8 lb and approximately 6 to 8 years old. They both are house trained and do not cause much difficulty have been very easy amazing companions and easily trainable they both love to play they both love love and both love to go out on walks and so much more amazing gifts that one could receive if they choose to temporarily provide a home for my precious for babies. If everyone could please help by sharing this out or let me know if you think there are certain places I should be sharing or contacting or adding to this post please do send me a private message and let me know. I've never had to pursue this as an option so I'm very much out of my element here and this is not what I want but it's what I need to do temporarily. I'd be happy to answer any questions or do meet and greets if anyone is interested please get in touch with me directly via phone and send any information to me directly via phone as I am blind and struggle with technology, yes I can do some text communication obviously but much easier need verbal Audio communication. Also Facebook is not Reliant as far as your messages or comments getting to me so please please make sure you send direct 603-247-5288 or if you're not comfortable with that you can try me on messenger but there's no guarantee I'll get the message or comment here but again no guarantee I will see the comment. Thanks bunches"

Budget Discussion During Coffee Hour January 19th

The Treasurer will do a Presentation of the upcoming budget for 2025 on Sunday, January 19th after church and during coffee hour.

Information will be provided for those attending. This will include a spreadsheet for 2024 and a separate one for 2025.

This is for information and discussion on our 2025 Budget as well as how our 2024 Budget has played out.

By this time 2024 will be complete with December 2024 numbers.

Thank you

Hollis Thompson

Treasurer

The Nominating Committee is currently working to fill positions of all standing committees in the church.

The good news is there is a strong group of people who continue to serve, but there are still several opportunities for others to join.

Right now there are openings in Diaconate, Educational Ministry, & Outreach Committee. And a golden opportunity for a Vice-Moderator.

And if you are not always in the area or don't like going out to a meeting, not to worry: every group, anytime is happy to have you join via Zoom wherever you may be.

As quoted, "Being a member of this church is not a spectator sport." Jump in!
