The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health focuses on assisting systems in engaging and partnering with families of children who have special healthcare needs. In a brief released by the foundation in May 2018, 4 domains and an assessment tool for family engagement were shared. The domains include Health Services, Family Support Services, Education and Employment Services and Law Enforcement/Juvenile Contact.
Use this resource to assess your own organization, plan new resources and trainings, baseline work with stakeholders and partners for joint grants and projects, and to assist families in self-assessing the systems and services they come in contact with.
Outcome: Enhancing your center's ability to provide parents with the knowledge and skills needed to partner to improve outcomes for their children. .
