"We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled," Justice Alito writes in an initial majority draft circulated inside the court.
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.
The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document, labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
Deliberations on controversial cases have in the past been fluid. Justices can and sometimes do change their votes as draft opinions circulate and major decisions can be subject to multiple drafts and vote-trading, sometimes until just days before a decision is unveiled. The court’s holding will not be final until it is published, likely in the next two months.

CDC Tracked Millions of Phones to See If Americans Followed Lockdown Orders.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) bought access to location data harvested from tens of millions of phones in the United States to perform analysis of compliance with curfews, track patterns of people visiting K-12 schools, and specifically monitor the effectiveness of policy in the Navajo Nation, according to CDC documents obtained by Motherboard. The documents also show that although the CDC used COVID-19 as a reason to buy access to the data more quickly, it intended to use it for more general CDC purposes.
Location data is information on a device’s location sourced from the phone, which can then show where a person lives, works, and where they went.

Andy Biggs Debuts America First Contract’
Rep. Andy Biggs has unveiled his “America First Contract” to guide the GOP to a House majority in November with pledges to crack down on President Biden’s weak border policies and launch investigations of top Democrats.

The 26 States Where Abortion Will Likely Become Illegal
More than half of all US states have some kind of abortion ban law that is likely to take effect if Roe v Wade is overturned by the United States Supreme Court, according to a report.
And states across the country are laying the groundwork for what comes after the more than 40-year-old ruling is nullified.

Supreme Court Abortion Decision Leak ‘Original Sin for Judicial Ethics’ By Jonathan Turley:
Whoever leaked the alleged draft of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has committed the “original sin for judicial ethics,” said Jonathan Turley, criminal defense attorney and Shapiro professor of public interest law at George Washington University.
Politico published an alleged draft on Monday of the Court’s decision to overrule Roe v. Wade in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case. The case revolves around Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban and is the most significant challenge in decades to the Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision, which declared abortion to be protected by the U.S. Constitution. The draft was seemingly written by Justice Samuel Alito and has circulated inside the Court, the news outlet reported.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito allegedly wrote in the document, which is labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
Turley said the leak represents “one of the greatest breaches of security in the history of the Court.”
“The alleged leak of the opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization is nothing short of breathtaking. It would constitute one of the greatest breaches of security in the history of the Court,” Turley tweeted. “…The article represents the greatest crisis that Chief Justice John Roberts has faced in his tenure on the Court. It is a breach of the most fundamental obligations and traditions of the Court.”

The Remarkable Thomas Sowell
Inasmuch as a single quote can say it all about Thomas Sowell, this one would have to be it. Speaking of himself some decades ago, he said during an interview: “People say, ‘You’re a very tough person.’ I’m not tough. Life is tough. I’m merely trying to acquaint you with those facts.”
Sowell did indeed acquaint the world with hard facts about the harsh realities of life — facts about human nature and economics and politics and history and sociology and race and culture and so many other things — but even this magnificent bit of plainspoken brilliance falls short. Sowell modestly says he’s not tough, but anyone who knows anything about the man knows this simply isn’t true. No one could’ve grown up an orphaned black boy and a high school dropout in the Jim Crow South and put together such a stunning body of intellectual work.

Heading the list has to be the radical redefinition — indeed, denial of — sex and gender, leading to such reality-defying statements as "men give birth," "men menstruate," "birthing person" instead of "mother," and to the Disney theme parks no longer greeting visitors as "ladies and gentlemen" or "boys and girls."
No. 2: It is fair to allow biological men to compete in women's sports.

Amaze Org is a predatory YouTube channel that says it aims to “take the awkward” out of sex education for kids and boasts about its age-appropriate content for this digital generation of children. It has more than 220,000 subscribers and its free videos have a combined total of more than 60 million views.
Why is YouTube allowing this organization to push its sexual agenda on kids? YouTube’s content policy clearly states, “Content that targets young minors and families but contains sexual themes, violence, obscene, or other mature themes not suitable for young audiences, is not allowed on YouTube.”

Russian Concern for Neighbors Mistaken as Looting
Moscow, RUSSIA -- Reports are pouring in from occupied areas of Ukraine that Russian troops have been removing food, fuel, consumer goods and appliances from Ukraine and sending them back to Russia.

Taliban praises US Supreme Court for plans to clamp down on women’s rights
Overturning an almost fifty-year-old decision that protects a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction would make the United States a much more pleasant land, according the Afghanistan’s new leadership, who spoke in glowing terms of the US’ highest court.
Taliban spokesman, Sayid Faizilliams, told us, “We are delighted to see our brothers in the United States clamping down on the scourge that is ‘women’s rights’.
“Women making decisions about their own bodies will lead to them wanting to make more decisions about other things that affect them personally, and before you know it, women will be thinking they are equal under the law.

BREAKING: AOC says she was killed by leaked SCOTUS decision and is now dead
WASHINGTON, DC—US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has issued a statement that she was “literally killed” by the leaked SCOTUS decision on abortion and is now dead.
