Mission Central to celebrate 20 years of serving HEB
This year marks Mission Central's 20th year of serving our neighbors in Hurst, Euless, and Bedford. Since 1996, we have been empowering our neighbors in need to improve their own quality of life.

You're invited to join us as we celebrate this milestone anniversary on the evening of November 18th at the Hurst Conference Center. We'll reminisce about fun times and accomplishments, as well as dream about the future.  We'll also hear from the always-inspiring Dr. Nathanial Hearne. Dr. Hearne is the former assistant principal of L.D. Bell High School and the former assistant football coach at Permian High School (of "Friday Night Lights" fame).

This event is made possible by our generous event sponsors: Signature Sponsor, First United Methodist Church of Hurst; Platinum Sponsors, Texas Health Resources HEB and Drs. Robin and Kevin Henson; and Silver Sponsor, Whitley Penn.

Individual tickets to the event are $50 and can be purchased online. Sponsorship opportunities, as well as opportunities to purchase a table for 8, are also available.
Mark your calendar for North Texas Giving Day
Want to increase the value of your donations to Mission Central? Mark your calendar for September 22 and plan to participate in North Texas Giving Day.

On this day, more than 2,000 non-profits throughout North Texas will be raising funds through Donations of $25 to $50,000 will be multiplied by $2.5 million in bonus funds and prizes. Every time Mission Central receives a donation on North Texas Giving Day, we'll receive a portion of those bonus funds - which increases the value of every dollar you donate.

Last year, Mission Central raised more than $60,000 on North Texas Giving Day. These funds helped us open our Community Resource Center in January, purchase a box truck, and add 15 new students to the Village Library after-school tutoring program. Your donations this year will be used in part to help us fund the growth of our transformational programs (Community Resource Center, Village Library, and Family Opportunities Program).
