Economic Data Dashboard Launch

This new comprehensive dashboard is updated and available monthly, giving local businesses transparent access to reliable economic data and insights that can be used to help make informed business decisions. Information is related to visitor trends and origin markets, monthly pace, hotel and STR occupancy, visitor spending, travel trends, TBID and TOT collections, monthly pace, domestic travel forecasts and more.

Event Funding Application Invitations To Be Sent Mid-September

The North Tahoe Chamber funds local events through TOT-TBID Dollars At Work that bring the character and spirit of our communities to life for residents and visitors. Sponsorships are awarded based on how the events impact the economic health, community vitality and environmental stewardship of Lake Tahoe.


Invitations to apply for 2025 event funding will be sent in mid-September to event producers who have received funding through TOT-TBID Dollars At Work for more than two years. New events and events that have received funding for only one year will be eligible to apply in early 2025.

Town Center Revitalization Study Ready To Go To Bid

After several months of stakeholder feedback, including from the TCDA Business Advocacy Committee and NTBA Economic Vitality Committee, work with the Placer County Office of Economic Development, Sierra Business Council and Tahoe Prosperity Center, the North Tahoe Chamber is ready to send the study to potential consultants. This study aims to identify short and medium-term solutions that will enhance town centers from an economic and viability perspective.

The North Tahoe Chamber funds local events through TOT-TBID Dollars At Work that bring the character and spirit of our communities to life for residents and visitors. Sponsorships were awarded based on how the events impact the economic health, community vitality, and environmental stewardship of North Lake Tahoe.

Join the North Tahoe Chamber for monthly mixers on the third Thursday of each month from 4-6 p.m. Enjoy this time engaging with community business leaders and fostering new relationships over delicious food and drinks at local venues. Be sure to enter the raffle for a chance to win exciting prizes!

Collaborative Membership Efforts

Lake-Wide Business Walks From October 15-17


The Tahoe Prosperity Center, the North Lake Tahoe Collaborative (North Tahoe Chamber, NTBA and TCDA), Placer County Office of Economic Development, Tahoe Chamber and Eldorado County Economic Development Division are planning lake-wide business walks between October 15-17 to check in with local businesses to see how they fared over the summer and ensure they have the resources needed to continue to thrive. These walks will include 7-10 questions. If you are interested in volunteering to help with the business walks, please email Adam at adam@northtahoecommunityalliance.com.

Tahoe Flow Arts & Fitness brings the community together through physical movement, well-being and performance to "Play, Train and Perform". They recently expanded their studio and class offerings and offer personal training and coaching and courses. They also host community events like "A Day of Healing Arts." This TOT-TBID Dollars At Work-funded event showcases health, wellness, flow arts and movement practices while highlighting practitioners in North Lake Tahoe.
