Alternate Caregivers Needed
The Adult Family Care (AFC) program is currently looking for ALTERNATE CAREGIVERS to provide support to people that require supervision and assistance with activities of daily living. What is an alternate caregiver?
  • An alternate caregiver provides part-time, substitute care in their home. Full-time Caregivers may need to travel, or take some time away. This is when alternate caregivers step in to help.
  • It is a paid position and pay depends on the level of care the person requires, and the length of time respite care is needed.

Alternate caregiver and setting must meet all applicable requirements: Must be over 21, preferred experience with skills in non-verbal and behavior management, reliable vehicle required, good communication skills, Valid I.D and able to pass a criminal background screening.
