New year greetings! We fervently hope 2021 will be a very different year. I am reminded of the lines written by the poet T.S. Eliot:

“For last year's words belong to last year's language. And next year's words await another voice.”

In just a few days, we start our spring semester, ready to script a new narrative, having absorbed lessons from this past fall.

INNOVATIONA Champion on Any Field

The resilience of our students is exemplified by this story of a management senior, George Adamou, whose soccer playing was sidelined by an injury. Undaunted, he pursued his passion for the sport by playing it online to become a top-ranked player of FIFA’s soccer video games.
ENGAGEMENT—A Lasting Imprint

Our goal to provide all our students meaningful exposure to the world of work rests on three pegs—internships, mentoring and job shadowing. This past fall, 17 undergraduate students completed virtual job shadowing of executives via Zoom and Google Meet, providing them a firsthand introduction to the daily responsibilities and long-term projects of managers and an insight into an organization’s culture. The participating firms included:
