Final Call for Individual Tax Paperwork

The deadline to submit paperwork for business and individual tax returns on extension has passed. If you have not yet provided your documents, please send them to us immediately. While we will make every effort, we cannot guarantee on-time filing for paperwork received from this point forward.

Estimated Tax Payments Due September 15

Estimated payments are recommended based on information supplied during the preparation of 2024 tax returns. Accurate 2025 estimated payments are necessary to avoid future interest and penalties. If you are unsure if you were advised to make estimated payments please review the filing instructions included with your 2024 tax return or contact our office.

IRS Check Payment Updates

The U.S. government has indicated it will begin phasing out the ability to mail checks to the IRS. This change is expected to start September 30, 2025 however, the IRS has not released formal guidance on how or when this transition will occur.

In the meantime, the IRS has updated the mailing addresses for certain tax payments, including estimated tax payments (Form 1040-ES) and Form 941 payments. While most Form 941 payments are made electronically through EFTPS, many estimated tax payments are still mailed.

***For New York State residents, there is no change of address at this time. You may continue mailing 1040-ES payments to the address provided with your tax return.
