Welcome to the second Arizona edition of the quarterly Civiltec Engineering newsletter! "Growth" is a fitting theme for this newsletter as we continue to broaden our project portfolio in the state of Arizona.
Check out this Summer 2015 newsletter for updates on how we're growing, including: 3 new projects with the City of Prescott, a spotlight on Andrew Shroads (whose career with Civiltec is the perfect picture of growth), and a career opportunity with the Peoria office.
If you know others who would appreciate this quarterly newsletter, please forward this email to them and encourage them to join our mailing list!
Civiltec Deepens Relationship with City of Prescott
Civiltec Engineering, Inc. opened its first Arizona branch office in the City of Prescott in 1993. Since that time, Civiltec engineers and surveyors have worked with the City on numerous projects such as street, storm drain, water and sewer improvements. Do you enjoy discovery and problem solving? Do you enjoy making a case for your opinions? Do you want to publish your work and watch your ideas and concepts come to life? If so, you may have what it takes to be a Civiltec Utility Planner. Click the photo or the link below for more information about the position.
Civiltec completed the design phase of the Deck Park Tunnel Drainage Improvement Project in the heart of downtown Phoenix earlier this year, and the construction phase is now underway. The challenge lies in finding a solution to water infiltrating into the tunnel systems while minimizing disturbance to the beloved Margaret T. Hance Park above the tunnel.
Andrew Shroads is a Project Engineer with Civiltec Engineering, Inc. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), and is currently participating in the Leadership in Engineering Administration Program (LEAP) via the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Arizona.
Andrew is excited to continue learning and advancing his engineering and management skillsets through expert training as well as working on civil engineering projects with Civiltec.
