We are all about how we can help our members~

During the Pandemic, the Board of Directors has met consistently to create and implement a plan with the primary purpose of assisting our members.
Early on, the Daily Update was created and served to arm our members with current information on a cross-section of topics, with an emphasis on state and federal regulation. Regular updates continue to be sent advising of the evolving landscape of regulation of our industry.
The All Member Open Forums continue to be a time to come together visually and share challenges and get answers to each other's questions. Early on, we supplied sample "Work From Home" agreements, offered sage advice about how to access PPP funds and discussed a
re-entrance into the
workplace strategy.
Press releases were issued and initiatives were born.
Board members continue to meet and collaborate with various other industry organizations: NACARA and CRF, as well as ACA, CLLA, IACC, NCBA and RMAi.
|
The Legislation Committee was re-activated and has met with other association professionals, as well as experts in the ARM industry to address the current situation in Washington DC.
Our industry has fought off over two dozen bills that could have impacted our businesses.
CCA of A is taking a strategic, proactive approach on behalf of our members, starting with a lobbying effort. We will keep our members updated with a report of progress from our lobbyist.
We will continue to meet with the other associations so we have a united front to combat at future threatening legislation.

As we saw the Pandemic get worse, we saw our fellow neighbors need help. The need for food increased 40%. Once again, the Board jumped into action, creating the initiative CCA of A Gives Back: Support Your Local Food Pantry.
We appealed to each member to donate to their local food bank or food pantry and Commercial Collection Agencies of America would donate to that same food pantry in honor of its member, as well.
The program was a huge success!
Over forty food banks and food pantries were recipients of our members' donations as well as the Association's donations.
A Huge Thank You to our
Generous Members!

The cost of your company’s bad hiring decisions can be staggering.
To calculate this cost, I tell my clients to add the first-year turnover rate to the percentage of people who the company wouldn’t rehire.
