Version 4.9 Released

Version 4.9, as discussed in previous newsletters, has been released.  Supported users should be offered the download automatically upon starting the program.

Please note that you should not apply this update if you are in the middle of the physical inventory process, as any in-progress inventory counts will be lost.

Version 5.0 is now under development, with a full redesign of the register and reporting screens.  Watch this space for further information!
Invoice Searching

Among the other changes in version 4.9, we've updated the invoice search.  This includes introducing a few new fields that you can search by and allowing you to combine multiple searches.  Most notably, and most requested, we're allowing you to enter a date range for this search. 


This can be accessed through store -> invoices, or from register by going to view -> invoices -> invoice search.

Gift Card Management

For those who are handling gift cards locally, as opposed to through Vantiv or Enterprise, you can manage them through either Store -> Gift Cards from the launch, or View -> Gift Cards in the invoice screen.


Among the improvements here, there are a number of search option for the gift cards, instead of just searching by the id.  You can look based on balance and activity, in particular, which should make finding inactive cards much easier for customers.
Bundle Editing

Under Store -> Bundles, you can modify your bundle items.  Formerly called kits, bundles allow you to do a package of items that are sold together, potentially at a discount.  You can access bundles through either Store -> Bundles, or through View -> Bundles from the invoice screen.


Selling the bundle item id at the register will sell all items you list here, either at the calculated price if the override price is not checked, or the override price if it is.
