Inventory Grid Update Previews

Following up on the previews from last month, we're working on updates to the inventory maintenance screen.  Note that all of these screens are in active development, and may not be exactly identical to their final versions.


Above is the main search screen, similar to the lookup screen of ExtremePOS as it is now.  There are a few new features here, but most notably as frequently requested many fields can be updated directly from this grid view for employees who have permission to do so.

You can also set what fields appear on this screen, and in what order.  This is done through a layout screen, shown below:


You can add and reorder your fields that appear here.  Note that not all fields can be updated, and a few do not show on the grid view.

Additionally, from this screen you can do instant purchase orders for the items on the grid.


These work identically to instant purchase orders in the present system.

Inventory Editing Preview

While editing on the grid is often useful for small changes, we also wanted to improve the detailed editing screen, especially for adding.  While this screen is even more likely to change than the above before release, we wanted to at least show it to you.


Based on feedback over both our Corporate Client and our classic inventory maintenance screen, we're attempting to move this look closer to corporate client's item edit screen.  Most notably, we're doing everything we can to try to fit everything commonly changed onto a single edit screen.


Similar to how you can now, you can set defaults for new items as you add them.
