The stated meeting of the Session will be held in the fellowship hall this
Sunday, January 13th immediately following worship. Session members are encouraged to submit ministry team reports to Clerk of Session
John McCarthy in advance of the meeting.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration
Newton County’s 34th annual celebration of the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is set for
Sunday, January 20th at 3:00pm at Newton High School. Superior Court
Judge Sammy Ozburn will deliver the keynote address.
2019 Annual Congregational Meeting
Save the Date! Following worship on
Sunday, February 3rd, the 2019 Annual Congregational Meeting will take place in the Fellowship Hall in conjunction with a
Souper Bowl of Caring lunch provided by our youth group. We will enjoy a meal together and then we will share information from the staff and Session members about the ministries of the church. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend!

If you give your pledge donations online through
REALM, use the fund titled “
2019 Pledge” or “
non-pledge” if you are giving and have not made a pledge.If you want to give to other funds they are listed alphabetically – for example: Food Pantry, Discretionary Fund, Memorial Fund, etc.
If you need help with the process or the name of an appropriate fund, call the church office and speak with
