For years the Southwest Atlanta and Blues Festival has help to fund Another Way Out, Inc. (AWO). AWO is a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to empower youth in the Atlanta Metropolitina area with skills necessary ot pursue Higher educaiton and crate strong Communities. AWO operates year round througout Fulton and surrounding areas.
AWO was founded by Samuel Tompkins in 1992 on Six Pillars of Character:Trustworthiness, Responsibilty, Caring, Respect, Fairness, and Citizenship.
