Dear NSP Member:
I am writing to let you know that Meegan Moszynski has left National Ski Patrol after 3 ½ years as Executive Director. We thank Meegan for her service, particularly her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep our organization responsive and effective.
We have begun a national search to fill the Executive Director position and will, of course, keep you posted on progress. During this interim period, the national office is in the capable hands of Ellen White, our Finance and Operations Director, who already oversees many of the day-to-day operations of the organization. These will continue uninterrupted – our members, partners and sponsors should see no interruption in service or ongoing initiatives.
As you know, NSP has worked hard developing and implementing model operational and staffing plans for the 2020-21 ski season, which we are very excited about despite the many challenges brought about by the pandemic. At the same time, the Board has long sought closer alignment between our divisional operations and leadership with the national office to create a unified organization. This transition will accelerate those efforts as we continue the positive momentum of the past several years.
Thank you for your continued support of National Ski Patrol.
