Things have been tough.
But there’s a flight
at the end of the tunnel.
And it’s at BTR.

BTR PASSENGER NUMBERS CONTINUE TO INCREASE SINCE PANDEMIC LOW-POINT
Baton Rouge Metro Airport (BTR) passenger volume has increased each month since the pandemic low-point in April. Total passenger volume in August was 25,175, up from July’s 22,500 passenger count.

BTR passenger numbers have increased each month since the April year-over-year decline of 95%, improving to a year-over-year decrease of only 63% in August based on total passenger volume. The airline industry continues to suffer dramatic passenger declines due to the coronavirus pandemic, but BTR passenger volume recovery is trending slightly above the national average on a percentage basis.

Total BTR passenger volume year-to-date through August is down 55%.
