Silicon Forest Electronics at 2019 AUSA Annual Meeting
 
Silicon Forest Electronics will return as an exhibitor at the Association of U.S. Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting & Exposition, as part of the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition booth.
 
The AUSA's Annual Meeting is the largest land-power exposition and professional development forum in North America.  Taking place over three days, the Annual Meeting is designed to deliver the Army's message by highlighting the capabilities of organizations and presenting a wide range of industry products and services.  The event will be held October 14-16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C.

The 13th Annual Silicon Forest Electronics Benefit Golf Tournament is coming up
VERY SOON on September 13!  The tourney is a benefit for The Giving Closet, a non-profit organization in Vancouver that serves individuals and families from a variety of different backgrounds, empowering them to claim a fresh start. The Giving Closet's intent is to see that every person in crisis is given resources to meet their basic needs.

Employee Spotlight: Vyacheslav Solomonov
 
The September 2019 employee spotlight shines on Vyacheslav Solomonov, who is celebrating the completion of his 15 th year at Silicon Forest Electronics this month!
 
"Slava" is a versatile team member - he is skilled in a variety of processes including X-Ray Inspection and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) programming and operation.  His favorite part of his job is being able to perform a variety of different tasks.

When Slava isn't producing or inspecting high quality electronic assemblies at Silicon Forest Electronics, he enjoys hiking and camping.  His favorite locations are Alder Lake and Fort Stevens.  We are proud to have Slava on the Silicon Forest Electronics team!
