On Oct. 3, Silicon Forest Electronics participated in a regional Manufacturing Day event, organized by Workforce SW Washington, Partners-in-Careers and WorkSource. The event was attended by over 200 high school juniors and seniors and held at the Warehouse 23 conference center in Vancouver, Washington. The students got to meet with local manufacturing companies, see the cool products that are manufactured here in SW Washington, and learn about Manufacturing career opportunities. 

SFE EVP/General Manager, Jay Schmidt and Human Resources Director, Valerie Nichols provided demonstrations of the type of products manufactured at SFE, and answered many questions from the enthusiastic student attendees!
