Plant Fall Annuals Now!
My recommendations for fall annuals include Petunias, Impatiens, Begonias, Blue Daze, Snapdragons, Lemon Drop, Dianthus, Alyssum, Kale, Lobellia and Salvia. Once really cool weather settles in, sometime in December, we can plant Pansy, and Violas, and other great winter annuals.
Soil Conditioner for Annuals
Always begin with high quality annuals...never from a big box store. When you plant annuals, remove the old mulch, loosen the soil, and then mix in Happy Frog Soil Conditioner. Fertilize each plant with Osmocote before spreading a nice layer of grade A mulch. Hand water plants daily for the first seven days and then three times per week thereafter. Before you know it, you will have a beautiful landscape full of color!
