EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio - Get ready for a whirlwind of excitement at our carnival-themed event to celebrate going back-to-school! Each year, the East Cleveland Public Library (ECPL) holds their annual Back-to-School event, open to the public.
This year, the Back-to-School event will be held on August 3rd, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM in the ECPL parking lot. There will be free food, music, games, free school supplies, and more! Please note that children must be in attendance to receive book bags.
“We like to be a beacon for gatherings and community in East Cleveland,” says Carlos Latimer, Executive Director of the ECPL. “Our programs explore literacy and education with a touch of fun.”
The ECPL invites students and families to stop by and enjoy the festivities. Wear some carnival-inspired gear! There will be photo ops, self-care, cotton candy, popcorn, and some fun surprises. Mark your calendars to celebrate the upcoming school year!
