Uncle & Niece Run & Roll To Second Place In 5K Race

Frank Gauthier of Lac du Flambeau, along with his 3-year-old niece Sophia Gauthier, recently participated in running the Babaamiba’idiwag 5K race in Lac du Flambeau. He pushed Sophia in the stroller and they came in 2nd place with a time of 25:50. The event is held in conjunction with the Bear River Powwow. Frank and Sophia are also powwow dancers.
