Proposed Budget Manual

On Wednesday, September 6, the City Council approved the first reading of the City's Budget with one amendment.  The amendment reads. "Amend the proposed 2017-18 Annual Budget by $30,000 to provide funds in the Human Resources Department for staff to take the necessary steps to engage a third party consultant with the knowledge, understanding, and experience necessary to help staff and the City Council evaluate the development of a compensation step-plan system for the entire organization, and that the revenue estimates in the General Fund be increased by $30,000 to offset the additional expense."    To view the meeting, click here

The second reading of the 2017-18 Proposed City Budget will be at the September 18 City Council Meeting.  The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building.  To review the proposed budget, click here.

Happy 100th Birthday!
