Hello All,
Just wanted to give you a brief update on our lawsuits against the utilities for health effects from smart meters/smart grid in the state of CA:
Edison recently filed for a change of venue from regular court into "complex court", for their own advantageous reasons. The good news is that the judge REJECTED their attempt at change of venue! PG@E similarly has applied for a change of venue, but this time to put it into Federal Court. We are submitting our brief to show why our complaints are not a federal issue, but a state issue. To my recollection, all defendants including manufacturers, installers and utilities have applied for a motion to dismiss. We are of course countering that with reasons why these cases cannot be dismissed. I will keep you posted as things progress.
If anyone knows of anyone on the state of CA who believes they are experiencing health effects from smart meters/smart grid and would like to join these suits but have questions, they can email me at contact (at) thepeoplesinitiative (dot) org or call me at 310-281-9639. Below is our video for the lawsuit, describing some of the health effects. You may have already seen it in which case just skip it.
We are open to ANY utility customer (not just Edison and PG@E) in the state of CA who believe they have been harmed by smart meters or smart grid. Our attorneys have also stated they are willing to work with attorneys from out of state on this issue.
