Historic Places Dedication Ceremony
On Wednesday, November 30th Big Sky Economic Development held a short ceremony to honor the Montana National Bank Building being listed in the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of Interior in cooperation with the Montana Historical Society.

Guests gathered in the Zoot Training & Event Space inside Big Sky Economic Development for a presentation from Kevin Kooistra with the Western Heritage Center on the history of the building and its significance to Billings. All were then invited to gather outside of the building for the plaque unveiling (see video below).

Big Sky Finance Funds SBA 504 Loan for $1,172,000
Big Sky Finance partnered with Brad Kelsey of Valley Bank Kalispell to provide financing to Erik Powell, owner of Wallis Corporation dba Glacier Precast. Erik, a 7 year Navy veteran, utilized the SBA 504 loan program to purchase the industrial property previously leased. Glacier Precast Concrete, located in Kalispell manufactures pre-cast concrete products in a variety of commercial, utilities and residential settings in Montana. They are also certified by the Canadian Standards Association for several models of septic tanks, providing service to much of southern Alberta. This SBA 504 loan funded in November 2022.
