Rochester, NY –– June 28, 2019 ––It's the last two days of the nine day CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Today is the final day of the:
  • Library Series with Mike Kaupa at Noon, FREE!
  • Jazz Workshops sponsored by Wegmans for music students of all ages at 1 p.m., features bassist Gene Perla, FREE!

The Steve Miller Band and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives headline at 8 p.m. at Eastman Theatre. Discounted rush tickets available starting at 12 Noon today (see details below).

The Allman Betts Band headlines tonight at 9 p.m. on the City of Rochester Midtown Stage at Parcel 5 presented by Rochester Regional Health.

The 18th Edition Festival wraps up tomorrow Saturday, June 29 and presents more 1500 legendary performers, familiar favorites and rising stars in 320 shows. It's the place to be in June!

They will kick off 2019 with a new Allman Betts Band album and a worldwide tour that will feature new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band. their first album debuts today! Sullivan Fortner Trio
A native of New Orleans, Sullivan Fortner began playing the piano at age 7 and was hailed a virtuoso before graduating from high school. Catherine Russell is Back!
Welcome back Catherine Russe ll a native New Yorker, born into musical royalty. Her father, the late Luis Russell, was a legendary pianist/composer/bandleader and Louis Armstrong's long-time musical director. The  CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival  is one of the world’s leading jazz festivals. From legendary performers and familiar favorites, to rising stars and new discoveries, the Festival navigates all genres of creative improvised music from all corners of the world. 

Founded in 2002 in Rochester, NY, the multi-dimensional nine-day Festival is held annually in downtown Rochester, NY and presents more than 1500 artists from around the world in 320+ shows at 20 venues. Attendance has grown from 15,000 in 2002 to 208,000 in 2018. Economic impact delivered to the region now exceeds $180 million.
