City Manager recruitment to resume

After pausing the recruitment process on March 30, 2020, to allow the City to focus on its pandemic response, the City Manager Recruitment Committee has resumed its search for a new City Manager. The Council Committee met earlier today and accepted the recommendation of the recruitment consultant to resume the search, which will look across Canada for candidates. 

“Today the City Manager Recruitment Committee agreed to resume the process to permanently fill the City Manager role. The search was put on hold in March due to COVID-19, and conditions are different but suitable to resume the hiring process,” said Mayor Don Iveson. “Interim City Manager Adam Laughlin will continue to lead our organization during the search and City Council thanks him for his sound leadership through this crucial time.”
