Today, Edmonton City Council voted to ratify the terms of the proposed agreement, which was the final step of the bargaining process. IBEW members voted to ratify the terms on March 6th.

“We are very pleased to have finalized an agreement that balances the needs of our IBEW employees with our commitment to be fiscally responsible,” said Deputy City Manager Kim Armstrong. “The electrical workers included in this agreement provide excellent service to Edmontonians and this agreement will enable those efforts to continue.”

The terms of the three-year agreement include a general wage adjustment of one per cent in 2022, two per cent in 2023 and two per cent in 2024.
