Rochester, NY–June 21, 2022–The CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival 19th edition heads into its last five days today, and will wrap up on Saturday, June 25. This year's festival will deliver 325 shows at 19 diverse indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Rochester NY. All venues are within walking distance of each other.
More than 1750 musicians are coming from around the world to play. A record 130 shows are free this year including the entire headliner series. Jam sessions close out the festival nightly at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, where you never know who will show up to play. And Jazz Workshops provide a unique opportunity for music students of all ages to learn from visiting artists performing at the festival.

In accordance with Monroe County public health official recommendations and the University of Rochester for Kilbourn Hall, Hatch Hall, Max of Eastman Place, and Ray Wright Room 120, face masks are optional. Proof of vaccination is not required. Please see the full guidelines here.
Masks are available courtesy of Rochester Regional Health at the First Aid Tent on Gibbs Street (5-9 PM daily) and at Kilbourn Hall, Hatch Hall, Max, and the Jazz Workshops.
