Library receives grant to support study and meeting room use
Fredericksburg, Virginia, February 4, 2022 - Central Rappahannock Regional Library has received a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region's Fredericksburg Savings Charitable Foundation Fund to help provide Google Jamboard smart boards for library meeting and study rooms.
This portable hardware will allow groups using the library's meeting and study rooms to work together on projects using an electronic whiteboard which will capture their drawings and text. These smart boards are similar to what is used in classrooms and have a multitude of applications that would benefit CRRL customers, including teleconferencing with others in remote locations using free Google Meet video conferencing software.
